With prices from as little as £25 for a half hour Dermalogica Facial treatment (which includes a shoulder and facial massage), this is a relaxing and cost effective way to enhance your facial beauty. Microdermabrasion Facial
Microdermabrasion is a very deep but very gentle exfoliation treatment. We use quartz crystals which are blasted over the skin and this removes the dead, old skin from the area leaving it possible for new clearer skin to reach the surface. This facial also includes a relaxing shoulder massage.
Is Microdermabrasion painful?
This facial treatment isn't painful at all in fact some people find it very relaxing. It feels like a very gentle Hoover over your face and neck.
What can Microdermabrasion be used for?
Microdermabrasion is mainly used as a facial beauty treatment, and can be used simply to revitalize your skin. In addition, this procedure treats a variety of skin conditions such as:
- Acne
- Eczema
- Psoriasis
- Scarring
- Stretch marks
- Fine lines
As well as facial treatments, Microdermabrasion can also used all over the body. Some people even have a microdermabrasion pedicure.
How long will the procedure take?
The time required depends on the specific need that you have. For example, treatment of acne scarring can take up to 12 sessions, although some people notice a difference after just 4 sessions. Our beauty therapists will be happy to give you an opinion on the basis of a personal consultation.
What are my options?
Microdermabrasion can be done in two different sessions.
The 30 minute treatment involves a cleanse, tone, microdermabrasion, cleanse, tone and then moisturise. The hour long treatment includes all of the 30 minute treatment plus a face mask with some relaxation time. For other parts of the body typically you would need: Back - 1 hour: Feet - 1 hour; Legs - 30 mins; Arms - 30mins.
How much does it cost?
The 30 minute treatment is £25. A one hour treatment is £50. You can buy treatments in blocks with no limits to the quantity. All vouchers are valid for up to six months from the date of purchase.
